Who is Niel J. Guilarte?

Niel began his career in 1990 as a self-taught video editor. His love of film and video led him to a career allowing him to work in California , Atlanta and Orlando before settling in Tampa, Florida where he lives today.  Niel was the lead video producer for the City of Orlando for 13 years and in 2013 he launched Wildstyle Media Group, LLC in Tampa.

In 2017 Niel directed and edited the film The Messengers: A Podcast Documentary which was on Amazon until 2019. In 2019 Niel met Logickeyboard for the first time, while promoting the film at NAB and Niel states: "I have used Logickeyboard since to edit many award-winning videos, indie films, music videos and music projects".

Today he owns and operates Wildstyle Media which is an award-winning media company and the exclusive production company and managing partner of Second Sol Studio in Clearwater, Florida.   Niel is a media and podcast coach and he is growing his business every day.

Could you tell us about Projects and Clients you are working with?

In my 30+ year career I have worked with hundreds of small and large brands.  I have shot, edited and directed many award winning projects.  I recently worked on two music videos.  One was for DJ Magic Mike and won a best editing Telly Award and the latest for an artist named PG in Oklahoma City.  That video has had over 315,000 views since its release.  I am currently mixing my first feature length indie film and also working on brand story videos and more for corporate clients.

What achievements or projects are you most proud of in your career?

How has using a Logickeyboard improved your workflow, and why would you recommend it to others?

I would absolutely recommend the Logickeyboard to any editor or creator needing to speed their workflow.  Before getting my first Astra I never could remember shortcuts at all and after a year of use I was editing extremely fast. I have never had an issue with it and I love how it lights up in our dim edit bay.

What advice or insight would you offer to colleagues thinking of purchasing a Logickeyboard?

There are many keyboards on the market but I feel that Logickeyboards are the best looking, and have a tactile feel.  The build quality is excellent and to be honest we get a ton of compliments on its colors from every visitor.
