Who is Jason Levine

If you have been at one of the major trade shows like NAB or IBC, then you have probably seen him presenting new features for Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition. Jason Levine, is the Principle Worldwide Evangelist for Adobe Creative Cloud, and has many fans all over the world.

After 16 years I still can't remember the Premiere Pro Shortcuts

So we met up with Jason at NAB 2017, and it turns out that Jason could not remember Premiere Pro Shortcuts after 16 years of use. Here what he had to say

We are here today at NAB 2017, showcasing all the new features that we just released - to Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Character Animator, Media Encoder. And it is really... Already this is day two. It's been amazing, - because we are able to showcase all of this incredible innovation.

Passionate about video

I've always been passionate about video. And I got into Premiere and of course After Effects. I was already a Photoshop user, and it has really just been an amazing journey.
Starting really focused on particularly side of the productions spectrum. And going full circle, including motion graphics, and even character animation. And of course, editing of the entire suite that we now have at the Creative Cloud.

Remembering Premiere Pro Shortcuts

So, you know, the truth is... I say this all the time. I never remember shortcuts, I'm terrible. After 16 years, I know about 7 shortcuts in all of the Adobe applications. I have really longed, not just for a keyboard to give me those shortcuts, - but for a keyboard that has the right kind of feel. 16 years, and I still can't remember what the redo shortcut is in Premiere. Now I don't have to anymore.
